SAT/ACT Info and Standardized Test Study Results

All test dates, info and registration occur online through each tests website.

For SAT testing info, go to www.collegeboard.com. This site will provide information on practice tests, materials, and registering (in the event you want to take additional administrations of the SAT outside of state testing at NHS).

Juniors take the SAT in April at Niles High School. No registration is needed ahead of time. This is a one time free test administration as part of state testing in Michigan.

For ACT testing info, go to www.actstudent.org.

When you take the test, be sure to indicate which colleges you are considering. This way your test results automatically get sent to them. The ACT provides this service for free. If you need to send the results to a college you did not list, you will need to go to the ACT website and request your results be sent. SAT charges a fee for this. Some students choose to wait and send their scores to colleges after they have viewed the results. This is recommended if you plan to apply to highly selective colleges or universities, otherwise it is not necessary to wait.

School Code

Niles High School's "School/ACT/CEEB Code" is 232-810. This number is used for national standardized testing.
